Kit for recessed mediflow hand dryer should be made of electro-zinced iron cabinet, 1/16” thick, and a stainless steel AISI 304 frame, bright finish. The cabinet should be fixed means 16 screw holes of Ø 1/4” for mounting on the wall, it should include 4 M5 bolts welded on top of the base plate for the fitting of the mediflow® hand dryer.
Grey rubber seal should be included to offer a reinforcing outside protection that minimizes vibrations and noise. The stainless steel AISI 304 frame should be 1/16” thick, with 4 screw holes of Ø 23/64” for mounting on the wall. Nuts and bolts for the fitting of the dryer to the kit and the frame to the wall should be included as follows: 4 nuts DIN 934 M5, 4 washers DIN 125 M5, 4 stainless steel screws DIN 7981 1-9/32” x 3/16” and 4 wall plugs F8.
Overall dimensions shall be 16-3/4” x 11-5/8” x 3” for the cabinet and 18-7/8” x 13-3/8” x 1/16” for the frame. Unit shall VDE approved and CE marked and comply with ADAAG norm (US) for the removal of architectonical barriers
Dismantling for installation The hand dryer is supplied with the metallic cover coupled to the base in a unscrewed stated.
The cover should be extracted taking into account its upper rib placed in its fitting on the baseThe cover must be removed obliquely until the upper rib has been extracted. Take care to avoid Damaging the internal parts (mainly electronic components)Damaging the cover. It is recommended placing it on a flat surface facing upwards and on a cloth. Mounting The assembly should be preferably prepared for rear ductingDrill holes of 5/16” (8 mm) in the wall, using the template supplied. Clean the holes of the resulting dust and insert the plugsPass the power cables from the wall through the 7/8” (22 mm) hole situated beneath the connection board of the applianceScrew the base of the appliance tightly to the wall ensuring the 4 silent-blocks are correctly positionedEnter the power cables and earth wire into the inside space containing the terminal strip, passing them through the entry holeTo reach the terminal strip the protective top should be openedConnect the cables from the mains and earth wire to their locations in the terminal strip. Once the electrical connection has been made, close the protective cover againFit the metallic cover into the base, placing it from top to bottom with a certain inclinations. Make sure the upper rib has entered in their location in the basePlace the lower screws, tightening with the specially supplied key
